Kirumi Tojo's Palace | The Ultimate Maid's Failures

By now everyone may be used to find themselves in bizarre locations, between going into palaces and visiting Nekyia. It might not come as a surprise that it has happened again.
What might come as a surprise, though...is how empty this place is.
All around you there's nothing more than a large, gray, featureless expanse. In the distance there seem to be bars, curving upwards to gather so, so high above you, possibly hundreds of miles above, so high it’s hard to distinguish.
It’s a cage. So unfathomably large. You could escape, were you to get to the edges of the cage, but...it would take forever. No matter how you look at it, you're trapped. The atmosphere is so...hopeless. Devoid of anything even remotely positive.
Not that you want to hang around for long, do you? After all, this is someone's palace. Not a place to stick around at. What to do, though?
It’s all so...empty. Silent. Featureless. A flat expanse of hard gray tiles.
Gather together, everyone. Gather and choose a direction. North, East, West, South. All directions look completely identical, but could it affect your time in this place, somehow? Probably not. But all treks start with the first step. Perhaps, if you get moving, you'll progress?

PHASE 0.5
You're also free to examine or perform actions if you wish. This is generally just to establish the arrival and current conditions of the palace!

...I've got a bad feeling about this. I've never seen a place so...blank. Please keep your guard up, everyone.
[It's strange. It's really damn strange.
But with a small sword in it's sheath on Sayaka's back, she'll be going to the East to check out what's going on.]

... There's nothing. [Nobody.] These places aren't usually empty like this, right?
[It's weird, right? It's a brief moment of being unsettled that she quickly tries to downplay by moving on. She looks to the west, where it seems she intends to move. Already restless, she doesn't want to linger in the empty plane for too long.]

PHASE 0.5 --- Continuation
The floor has always been tiled, but the farther you go northwest, the more you find out the floor beneath you is...echoy. Even though the expanse around you is endless and empty, there's an echo as if you were indoors.
In the distance, though...something is there. Take a look. Once everyone comes closer, they'll find...
Twelve cameras on tripods. The tripods are very tall, the lenses of the cameras are pointing at different spots of the floor. Each tripod is separate from each other, ensuring none of them will interfere with each other.
Well then!
What will you do?]

But thankfully, she is going to manage it, breathing gently and centering herself. She's overthinking, she has to be.]
Shizuki-kun, McGillis-san, and I managed to find a flyer by going east; while much of it seems to be illegible, it was talking about auditions. And there was a map, too--a map pointing to the northwest.
And, um...Shizuki-kun's hands were stained with...black and white ink when he touched the paper, for some reason.
[There's a pause. A quick glance toward Fray for a brief moment, before she speaks up again.]

Out west, there was a red marker on the ground. Past that, some kind of toy bear was sinking into the ground.

I tried to grab it, but it just made me feel like I was somewhere else for a second. Then I popped back here with this shit all over my hands. [They are stained black and white.]

PHASE 1
[Your surroundings are completely different now. They're...not really an improvement from the featureless gray expanse, because every single person here knows what this place is:
A source of pain and unease for Kirumi Tojo. Sayaka explained to everyone the circumstances, so it's not hard to guess that in this abandoned building, blood was meant to be spilled.
Monokuma said he set everything up so everybody will see what kind of person Kirumi Tojo is. But even though he said that...at first glance, nothing seems to be about her? That may be because it's not easily seen. This is a big place, after all. There's so much that could be worth checking.
The hallways are large. Big windows fit on the walls, but you can't see outside unless you approach. In the room you're in, there's a bulletin board. You can see a hallway that goes deeper into the building, as well as two doors -- one featureless, the other with a piano motif.
Time to explore, everyone, and see...what little bits and pieces of Kirumi Tojo's psyche you find along the way. Monokuma wants you to kill her, and if he's anything like what Sayaka said...
...wouldn't it bring the most despair if you had to kill somebody you got to understand thoroughly?]

PHASE 1 END
(no subject)
(no subject)
...
...
PHASE 2
It’s a very damp passageway. Feels like the humidity is dialed to 110% in here. There’s droplets from the ceiling fixtures – somehow, there are elegant chandeliers lining the way.
There’s more sound than the noise of your steps and that of the Exisal walking. There’s…what sounds like muted crying around you. Doesn’t sound like Kirumi, though, it sounds like voices you don’t know. Among them, though, a few of you may have good enough ears to distinguish the cries of one Kaede and one Shuichi among them. Is this based on reality? Or is it something Kirumi’s mindscape conjured? No perception rolls needed anymore!
Very rarely, the word ‘traitor’ seems to pop up, clear as day, by one of the voices. Whatever the intent of the ambiance is, it’s not a good sign of Kirumi’s feelings on the matter. Before now, Kirumi had shown signs of guilt. That guilt, here in the depths of her palace, seems to be repressed unsuccessfully.
Soon, everyone reaches a very large chamber in this cave. To your left, you’ll see there’s a pedestal some distance away. To your right, you’ll see several big stone bowls. And to the center, on a table with a nice tablecloth, there’s several plates of gimbap and tteoboki, enough for everyone. There’s a handwritten note from Kirumi there.
‘Your request has been fulfilled’.
Watch out, everyone. Things will get grim from here on. After all, you’re in the sinner’s hell]
—---------------
Characters are free to go to the left or to the right. There’s plenty for several people to deal with things on both sides, so there’s no limit of how many can go. That said, try to keep it generally balanced, yup!
Freel free to reply to this post to talk among yourselves, maybe eat some food, and state where you're going. I'll have toplevels for each side once some people have gone to each side, yup.

FINAL BATTLE
One look at your surroundings show that no. You're still in hell. In Kirumi Tojo's eyes, she has never left hell.
She doubts she ever will.
There's a pair of gigantic red doors. Past them, you'll see a very busy room.
Looks pretty cramped, doesn't it? Monokuma is sitting on his throne, comfy and not too worried, and in front of him...it's Kirumi.
She looks away when she notices people entered]
Oh, look! They got here. They sure took their sweet time. Have you seen how roughed up they are? Half-dead, even!
[That's not even true, but Monokuma doesn't care about truth. He has spent a loooot of time talking to Kirumi directly, using his powers over her mindscape to force her to listen. Sayaka was told Kirumi was unharmed physically, and that's true.
Emotionally and mentally, though...she has been subjected to Monokuma giving her undivided attention.
Kirumi dares to glance towards everyone who arrived. Just that brief glance showed a lot of guilt, conflict, and dread. Fray was told Kirumi was dreading someone coming, and that was no lie at all. She looks like she wants to leave right now.
Monokuma puts a paw on Kirumi's head, forcing her to look straight at them all. "Remember what I told you, supermaid. Think of them. Your duty of helping them, make all their saccharine-sweet bonds happen and fight for the goddess or whatever...you know what's getting in the way of that?
It's you, Kirumi. You're in the way."
Kirumi stands up, shakily. She looks pretty lost, really. In her hand, there's the axe.
"Your crimes and worst sides are in the way, Kirumi. They'll ruin everyone's efforts, so you know what you must do, don't you? Go ahead.
Solve the problem you caused."
Monokuma's throne moved away, ascending out of the way, out of reach. He just gets a glass of wine, comfortable for watching the confrontation he spent all this time preparing Kirumi for, getting under her skin, breaking her defenses little by little, so he could get the result he wanted.]
MECHANICS
As usual during fighting, 1-10 is a failure, 11-20 is a success.
