Kirumi Tojo's Palace | The Ultimate Maid's Failures

By now everyone may be used to find themselves in bizarre locations, between going into palaces and visiting Nekyia. It might not come as a surprise that it has happened again.

What might come as a surprise, though...is how empty this place is.

All around you there's nothing more than a large, gray, featureless expanse. In the distance there seem to be bars, curving upwards to gather so, so high above you, possibly hundreds of miles above, so high it’s hard to distinguish.

It’s a cage. So unfathomably large. You could escape, were you to get to the edges of the cage, but...it would take forever. No matter how you look at it, you're trapped. The atmosphere is so...hopeless. Devoid of anything even remotely positive.

Not that you want to hang around for long, do you? After all, this is someone's palace. Not a place to stick around at. What to do, though?

It’s all so...empty. Silent. Featureless. A flat expanse of hard gray tiles.

Gather together, everyone. Gather and choose a direction. North, East, West, South. All directions look completely identical, but could it affect your time in this place, somehow? Probably not. But all treks start with the first step. Perhaps, if you get moving, you'll progress?

[The ovens aren't the only thing Arven has, apparently. Arven calls for Mabosstiff against Aubrey.

Luckily, Monokuma thought it'd be a waste of time to make a false Mabosstiff. Instead, there's a stock bark noise from direction of the fridge, it opening and unleashing a deluge of icy water onto Aubrey, intending to harm via cold burns.

That works better for Arven than it should have, it was a 13]

[But she'll try to take a swing at the fridge, only to do no damage because she only rolled a 2!]

[Goodness gracious, Argenti and Sayaka hit the fridge with quick one-two.

Sayaka's sword hits the fridge, the door falling off its hinges. When that happens, the fridge breaks, the broken door when the demon emerges from the fridge, this heavy piece of fridge barely missing Sayaka from so close her hair is moved by the displaced air, and the door hit Argenti right on the chest.

This thingy had barely appeared from the fridge when Argenti's Psio destroys it, the weak Shadow defeated now that it had no fridge to hide in.

Well! Looks like this minor obstacle is cleared!]

[ Well! It's a good time to be wearing armor indeed - getting hit by a door is surprising, though not too difficult to handle. Small peanuts, really.

Yeah. Maybe fighting these Shadows will give us another clue somewhere.

[It'd have been funny if she had missed the fridge and instead hit the Exisal, but alas, the dice didn't cooperate.

The fridge apparently didn't like the intent to harm. Some of its workings short-circuit, sparks of electricity attempting to give Aubrey a shock. Missed, she not having been close enough for that, but it really tried, a sound effect of a growl sounding from the appliance]

[A garula spell coming from something the fridge hadn't been watching out for is too much for it. Ever seen a fridge move? It rotates a little bit, starting to creak from the amount of damage it has taken so far, and once it faces towards Aaron, and then opens, blasting a barrage of hail at him. IT's solid ice, nuggets of ice at high speed. I sure hope you, Fishy, haven't ever experienced how being under hail feels like, because this successful hit on Aaron felt like that!]

Well whatever!! If it's dinky hail then he probably could have shrugged it off but yeah, those bigger chunks hurt. He's just going to heal himself while it gets busted by other people anyways, but after the Shadow possessing it is dead, he's just going to give it one last kick for good measure, which obviously does no damage (8) to the already ruined fridge.
