Kirumi Tojo's Palace | The Ultimate Maid's Failures

By now everyone may be used to find themselves in bizarre locations, between going into palaces and visiting Nekyia. It might not come as a surprise that it has happened again.
What might come as a surprise, though...is how empty this place is.
All around you there's nothing more than a large, gray, featureless expanse. In the distance there seem to be bars, curving upwards to gather so, so high above you, possibly hundreds of miles above, so high it’s hard to distinguish.
It’s a cage. So unfathomably large. You could escape, were you to get to the edges of the cage, but...it would take forever. No matter how you look at it, you're trapped. The atmosphere is so...hopeless. Devoid of anything even remotely positive.
Not that you want to hang around for long, do you? After all, this is someone's palace. Not a place to stick around at. What to do, though?
It’s all so...empty. Silent. Featureless. A flat expanse of hard gray tiles.
Gather together, everyone. Gather and choose a direction. North, East, West, South. All directions look completely identical, but could it affect your time in this place, somehow? Probably not. But all treks start with the first step. Perhaps, if you get moving, you'll progress?

[ Argenti comes swinging in on a spider thread like Tarzan, and scoops Fray up with one arm somehow - I don't know, he has great arm strength, and repositions him while using one hand to still hold onto a spider thread.
His hands are full but hopefully this gives Fray enough time to...resettle himself and reach out for another spider thread fortunately? ]
Are you alright, my dear?
[ He'll also cast Dia on him. ]

I am, yes - thanks to you.
[He's managed to readjust now thanks to Argenti's help, so it looks like we can keep climbing! Though once again I have an excuse for any bad rolls because Fray is just too charmed by his bf, thank you, Argenti!!]

Perhaps it even is Argenti being so cool and avoiding the second leg's problems what make Argenti so dashing. Monokuma tries to stop Argenti by letting a whole Exisal fall from the edge of the pit above, and by a twist of fate, that also will be a problem for Fray. It's a big thing. You'll need to move fast to avoid being thrown off by the machine falling towards you!
Whatever Fray does, it won't be entirely effective, since it was a failed roll indeed. After that, since he got two failures, he can ascend to the third leg automatically.]

Anyway, making it to the third leg is great and all, but Avrae said Fray is still distracted by Argenti (6) so we're probably gonna need to suffer through another failure here. Take it away, Nick!]

You're in the third leg, Fray. A patch of the pit has some ivy, and a tendril of that starts to come closer to Fray's thread, enveloping it. There seems to be some acidic compound on the surface of the ivy, trying to corrode the thread.
Some of the acidic compound drips onto Fray. Watch out! A drop or two may filter through his helmet, touching his skin. That's going to be pretty awful to feel!

But it was a 10! Close enough. The thread, too corroded by the acid, begins unraveling, Fray dropping a little. If he doesn't act fast, he's going to plummet and probably die, not only from the fall but battered by his own armor.
It's going to take agility to save himself. There are plenty of threads, there's some jutting stones on the wall, there's his Persona too. Many options on how to save himself in an impressive manner that compensates how much Avrae is against Fray today]

Fray's saved by a combination of swiftness and sheer luck as he pushes off the stones to reach out and grab a second string, safely avoiding a fall (16). Whew, that definitely would've ended in death if he hadn't reacted in time, good thing he was able to do that and it wasn't all up to a dice roll that could've killed him (damn). Anyway, he's going to keep climbing, surely he'll reach the top soon!]

Good news, he got another two failures, which have him get to the last leg. You're almost there, Fray! Climbing a new, safer thread.
Did you know that Yoon had made a buzzsaw go in an angle? He did that, turning it into someone else's problem. Unfortunately, it's now Fray's. There it comes, upwards -- not even aiming at the thread, it's aiming at Fray himself. The armor means contact won't be an immediate painful death, but still, that's horribly dangerous!
i hope you appreciate this deadly situation i throw to fray redd]

That sure is a truly unfortunate series of events that have led to this moment. Fray can't exactly avoid an attack like that because he is not the fastest climber (between the armor and his sword, he is heavy) so instead he summons the Fallen to launch an Eiha at the buzzsaw. Shockingly, this works (14), allowing Fray to knock the buzzsaw away and continue to climb safely upwards. Avrae, you failed me again.]

The monomono machine included. Placing it there, Monokuma presses the button over and over, sending several capsules full of heavy weapons at Fray.
I find hilarious in some way that this the sixth and final failure, Fray getting through 3/4 of this pit with that. If it wasn't for healing spells he'd be so bruised by everything that's happening! And now, adding to that gacha capsules that are presumably full of stripper poles and hammers]
