( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

this is how they find themselves in something akin to a denny's or an ihop at like, midnight.

[The man of the hour... Despite his stinky reputation, he does actually bathe himself, though not as often as most modern people might. His hair is at maximum fluffiness right now, and he's opted to dress in his suit rather than his usual hakama getup. While he looks pretty dapper, it's undercut slightly by how exhausted he is about the face.

Still, he looks happier and more relaxed than he's ever been here.]

[For something improvised, it's really competently made! That it was made genuinely as a way to celebrate the successful completion of this palace helps, too. That said, I am not wholly certain what American style food is, but already the diversity is incredibly appealing!

Though, it is quite a bit overwhelming. I...am afraid I am not certain where to start.

We were never from the same world, at the least, if that is what you wish to know. I do not really recall much about it to say anything in particular, either way, besides brief snippets.

As for what kind of food I prefer, I do think sweets are nice to have. Though I am not picky, either way. There are times when people cannot afford to be choosy, after all.
