( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

this is how they find themselves in something akin to a denny's or an ihop at like, midnight.

[For something improvised, it's really competently made! That it was made genuinely as a way to celebrate the successful completion of this palace helps, too. For someone who has told many 'i am not interested in making bonds i will just help others' Kirumi is starting to make overtures in that direction]

These days it is very accessible. There presently are establishments dedicated solely to serve steak in all its forms to anyone craving it.

Yeah. The whole place turned all white and all the life got wiped off. But apparently if we kick this alien god's ass it'll undo it.

Oh it's nuts fer sure. I couldn't have imagined any of this when I was alive. I didn't even know magecraft was real until I was a servant.

It is possible it is real in many places and we all just do not know it. I do hope it is not real where I came from...
