( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

this is how they find themselves in something akin to a denny's or an ihop at like, midnight.

Well then you should get pancakes, probably. I think the ones with blueberries in 'em are best, personally.

[ Blueberry pancackes. Ah, so his strategy now is to get rainbow pancackes with blueberries inside of them, alongside some of those proteins - but he allows the thought to be put to the side as Izou asks a pertinent question. ]

...Did I neglect to tell you that before? If I have not, well you certainly know now. A Knight of Beauty travels through space consistently from world to world. Or spaceship to spaceship, while carrying out the duty that has been assigned to all of those who serve Idrila!

I think you said something about it before but I kinda just wrote it off since you talk so crazy.

There a lotta people livin' out in space where yer from then?? That's nuts.

Oh? Is it the space travel that came off as crazy?

But, yes, you are correct that there are! Many people live out on large spaceships themselves rather than strictly worlds themselves. It may sound quite out there, perhaps, but it is certainly something that is very common.

Well yeah. In my time it wasn't possible ta go to space, regular planes weren't even a thing. The time I was summoned in people've gone ta space but only as far as the moon.

[So the idea of lots of people living in space.... space future.]

[ Well in the grand scheme of things, Argenti doesn't really find himself all that surprised, if those are his experiences with the most current technology. ]

So the idea really is quite new to you - in a way. I do not believe I have met many people who are familiar with the kind of advanced space travel that I happen to be.

Though, that is fine as well. We all come from different walks of life, and I believe that it only makes that difference something that enhances the radiance of each individual.

I think the weirdest part is you don't even look like a space man. You look like the other knights I've seen and those guys are from even further back in history than me!
