... In the other room, I found those cards that declared someone's chance of survival. Sou- Shin Tsukimi was rated with a 0.0 percent chance. I think... he chose to lie. And is lying still.

It also feels like... things I say are being ignored? Not just my name, but when I insisted on looking for others, they still seemed to be working on a different script.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. When I was asked to show a 'collar' that was on him, I only needed to mime the movements to prove that I had one, too. Otherwise, I got some answers out of the guy I talked to, though I'm not sure how useful they are to us.

As 'Sou' goes to say the name 'Shin Tsukimi', he feels a tightness in his chest that stops him from saying anything. It's like he can see the future ahead of him already: he says his name, those cards get found, and he's taken out as an easy target by someone else fighting for their life.

No. He has to hide his identity. He can't look weak. He can't act weak. He has to take on an entirely different persona to survive.

With 'Sou' refusing to speak, the options go back to what they were before: tell the truth or lie. Will you wear down his worries, or go with what he feels is right?]

I was humoring your attempts to get in, since I figured you wouldn't get too far in before dying, but this is what happens? You can't even agree on a result? How do you expect to find the real 'me' with that weak resolve?

[It is SO LATE so I won't make you fight here. Instead he just presses forward with what actually happens: 'Sou' declares that Sou Hiyori is his real name, and he keeps the presence of the cards a secret. He enters the game suspicious of everyone else's intentions, keeping them all at an arm's length.]

This is the only 'freebie' I'm giving you. Next time you falter, you'll have to pay for it in blood. Or maybe you should turn around and leave now, if you're just as weak as 'he' is then you'll never make it to the end. Our fate isn't changed so easily.
