We want to help Argenti-kun. We...we want to understand what has happened to our friend--what's made him this way, and what has hurt him so. We...

[ The Knight tilts his head curiously, taking note of her reaction, but also her stubbornness despite it. ]

You are not afraid of him?

What if he has become a monster? One who is no longer human and does not even so much as resemble even a beast? Would you still try to bring him back to you?

Would you still consider him your dear friend?

I would consider him my friend. I--I do consider him my friend. Argenti-kun...he looked out for me as soon as I arrived here, and cared so deeply. He even, for a while, killed monsters that I couldn't. I wanted to become stronger--so he didn't have to keep taking my burdens, but so that I could become a good friend to him, too.

[ The knight turns away with a grunt, as if blinded by Sayaka's words. Apparently for a creature like him the determination is far too radiant. ]

You must have persisted through many a trial yourself, even if they were not granted by Idrila.

However, be forewarned, whether or not you can reach him at all...surviving may be a trial in of itself.
