[Arven immediately flinches as the cold seeps into him. Another palace threatening to freeze him to death, huh... He huddles close to Mabosstiff and Mafuyu as he takes in the scene. He should be in a battle stance given all the injured people, but it's so...cold...]
W-Wait...your name isn't really Fray, then?
[And what the heck is a Warrior of Light? Isn't Fray a Dark Knight? Though...it certainly sounds like a moniker that Haurchefant would approve of.]
[V'rhas's tone is still conversational, still casual, but he lets that hang there for a moment before continuing.]
Only a few of you know the truth behind "Fray". But perhaps the rest of you are starting to get an idea after what you've seen. I'm curious, do any of you have a guess at who - or what "Fray actually is?
[ Sunrise seems to be thinking for a long, long moment, in the way of someone who doesn't want to answer until the thought has fully formed in her head.
When she does answer, it's with a slight questioning lilt, in an uncommon moment of her having intonation without putting conscious effort into it. ]
...Someone born from a person's feelings?
[ She isn't actually sure. It's just her gut answer from how what she saw cleaved a little close to the feelings that, in a sense, make up her too, and she knows what she is. ]
Part of what you felt certainly was his feelings. Though to answer your earlier question, Arven... Those memories are mine. "Fray" was not around at that point, but since he is borne from my feelings, it makes sense that he likewise has similar thoughts and feelings on them.
[ Argenti pauses at that, eyebrows furrowing, before closing his eyes for a moment, sparkling just a little. ]
It was a surprise to me as well...but, we had bonded so close together, that we've become very much intertwined together by an intense bond that turned passionate and deep as the days passed us by.
I am honored to be by his side as his dear beloved one.
[ He can say this too. Remind this person who must be an essential part of Fray's heart, rather than necessarily the phantasm of the Warrior of Light, how important and dear Fray is to him. ]
[The biggest difference between V'rhas and Fray is that V'rhas does not immediately turn red and look like he wants the floor to consume him when being confronted with any sort of affection.]
I know nothing I say will sway you, of all people. Yet I must ask anyway: do you truly wish to walk this path? Knowing who and what he is, knowing that you will have to fight, will you continue on?
[It seems like some of the others have a better idea of what this could mean than Arven, so he's just going to be over here like TailsGetsTrolled.jpg while he tries to wrap his head around it.]
[Weirdly tense, but don’t worry about it - it probably has something to do with all the people flinching away or with residual adrenaline, both things she should be used to.]
All this time… it’s not like he’s been possessing you, right?
[Well, that does seem to be a relief, anyway. She rolls her shoulders. She’s long since stopped looking at the people gathered around.]
He can’t exist without you, though, is that what you’re getting at? The real you, anyway. Or maybe he can now.
[Just killing someone’s Shadow hasn’t exactly been the right choice, ever - which is unfortunate for someone who cuts through obstacles the way she does. But this one seems like it might be especially fucky.]
That's correct. At least, that's my understanding of it.
[And thus Fray's. Probably.]
I was hoping you all would see reason and turn around; leave this place and him behind and focus on taking out the God of Conflict. But it would seem that the others are intent on dragging him back with them.
[The unasked question here is do you feel the same?]

[Despite the bluntness, there's nothing cold in the words. It is what it is.]
I'm not him. As I said, I'm V'rhas. This "Fray" of yours is my mentor.

Okay but no, Arven actually has an even more pressing thought now.]
He did mention having a pupil, but...not a twin brother.

Very good, Sunrise! That's correct: Fray is a being born of emotions - more specifically, my emotions.

...I see. Maybe that is why some things felt familiar.

...I recall him saying that he essentially is the negative emotions and thoughts of the Warrior of Light granted physical form.
But, I believe he is more than that. In my heart I know that he is his own person.
[ ...Because of course he's going to add that in there. ]

That's correct, yes. He told you as much himself, did he? I'm surprised he actually told you - he certainly took his time telling me.
[Despite the words, V'rhas doesn't sound surprised in the slightest. He doesn't address the second statement.]

It's like Rin and the others, I think. But they have their own identities and appearances...

[...and then he quiets down when he realize show loud that was.]
I get it now. So he's like them, 'cept...he still looks like V'rhas here.
