No matter what has happened, he hasn't given up on Atem. He can see that despair and though their situations are vastly differently by far, he feels that sadness clearly in that voice. ]

Those that love you would wish for you to walk forward, wouldn't they? Back to those who are still here, who will remain to support you through the hard times.
