Mana tanks every hit thrown at her--- while they connect, she appears to resist Physical, Psychokinesis, Fire, and Ice! She follows Mafuyu's Matarunda with her own Matarukaja.

Mahaad, however, takes double damage from Aubrey's Mabufula and Haruka's Maragi. He quickly casts Mirror Force in response on Mana to reflect any more incoming Physical attacks!

[Well, since he has now gotten a grasp on the situation, he's going to go ahead and cast Diarama on Soujuurou. Stop punching things!!! Idiot!!!]

[Shalem immediately turns his head towards Mahaad, his attention caught by the spell he cast. It looks like a support spell, or a healing one, and he knows immediately that this needs to be handled.]

Oh, what's this? You're covering for her? That is not allowed! [He summons Orpheus and casts Bufula on Mahaad (18), uncaring of the fact that the spell drains his energy-- he saw what attempting to touch Mahaad physically did. But maybe the cold will make him cool off.

"Master!" Mana calls out to Mahaad as he's forced back by the other's onslaught.

Shalem's Bufula (18) and Fray's Thunderous Rage (12) deals double damage on Mahaad! Mana's looking wearier, too.

"I'm fine, Mana," Mahaad rises to his feet, staff posed and ready to cast. "Focus on the fight."

"But the Prince... if you were to die..."

"Focus on the fight!"

Mana winces and turns back to face the others, "Black Burning!"

She hits Fray (9), Shalem (6), Sunrise (8), and Soujuurou (13) with light Nuclear damage! No one is afflicted with Dizzy.

Mahaad readies his staff, "Black Magic!"

He hits heavy Nuclear damage on Argenti (14)!

Please. We only mean to defend ourselves- and we'll continue to do so- but we want to help him, too. Something is wrong, and it's hurt people in the past- myself included. All we want is to soothe it.

Mana hesitates at Mafuyu's words, her hands trembling as she holds her wand.

Mana's done talking because what the hell Joshua, and Mahaad struggles to remain standing. They place their staves together...

Medium Nuclear Damage is done to everyone (7)! And Shalem is afflicted with Dizzy!

[This... is definitely not good. With Mafuyu trying to negotiate and Mana and Mahaad themselves looking worse for wear, it's starting to seem as though there may be a way to end this peacefully.

That is, at least, until Shalem just decides to go nuclear and keep on attacking in spite of Mafuyu trying to talk them down. And heeeeeee.... does not exactly seem very sane at the moment, either.

So instead of attacking either Mana or Mahaad, Richard is going to aim a rapier strike (18) at Shalem, not intending to injure him severely but rather just snap him out of whatever is wrong with him right now.]
