( another week, another palace- and far be it from us to deny tradition. through bickering, wandering and other shenanigans, the group from argenti's palace will find themselves at an agreeable izakaya- not entirely meals, and they definitely have to make an argument for the younger teens, thank you izou, but the atmosphere is light and more importantly, this bad boy can fit so many customers at one group table. it was a hard battle- so now it's time to rest hard, too.

I feel more at home on the battlefield than I do here.
[Vague gesture to... well, this entire real world. Put him back in the Nekyia!!]

[Having a Persona and all! It's so puzzling]

[Giant greatsword swings stay the same, but not having the power of inner darkness to back it up?? Weird. How are you supposed to tank without a tank stance??]
You've been doing very well for yourself, though. You held your own just fine in there. Thank you for your assistance.

[She might have held her own better than the average person would, but still pales in comparison to a true fighter!]

I would be honored to assist. I have some experience with an axe, so I can offer you some pointers... though you've done quite well on your own.

[Injuries mean she did something wrong! Even though she was healed, someone aiming for perfectionism like Kirumi does would take that as a sign of a performance leaving much to be desired.
That's why she says:]
I need advice on avoiding injuries in the midst of fighting.
[Yeah, to an experienced fighter, Kirumi's worries are not exactly what she should be concerned about. She's taking the wrong approach to that, really]

[Not unless you've got a good tank, but most fights have raidwide damage anyway—]
Combat is difficult to predict and plan around. Making it through in one piece is often the most one can hope for. Injuries will happen. That's simply a part of fighting. You would be better suited in focusing on how to recover from such injuries and maintain your ability to fight than worrying about ensuring you are never injured in the first place.
Those of us with healing capabilities will always do our best to ensure that those injuries will not slow you down - so trust us.

[They probably won't leave her to die from injuries in the midst of battle, that she's sure of!]
It is odd. Rationally I know injuries are inevitable, but every time I was struck and needed healing to continue, it felt as if having to draw someone's attention so I'm healed could be a hindrance. It will take a while to correct that thought.
[Even though Kirumi has healing capabilities herself, 90% of the time those are used on others, not on herself. Typical]

Being able to help is something I personally find value in. I have been given the opportunity to assist my allies, and I will gladly do so. I'm sure our other healers feel the same way. It isn't a burden - rather, it is expected for others to get hurt fighting on the front lines. We want to do what we can to assist.
[Don't worry, Kirumi, you're never a burden.]
