[ So. Bad news. McGillis is going to... be pulled underground??? (6)

He is trying to kick the monster hand off, but it's... not going particularly great?? And there is not much to hold onto here with just flowers so... ]

[ Time to summon his Persona and try to hit this claw with a Garula (12). Unfortunately, this leaves Sayaka to fend on her own for now... ]

[ Fortunately, McGillis' wind spell seems to have stalled the creature from pulling him completely underground...so his leg is half-way in now (9), though it has a stubborn grip so it hasn't let go.

As for the one attacking Sayaka, it misses horribly (1) because we're having a time of it, folks.

But Sayaka's Agilao ALSO misses (9)...we're at an impasse, it looks like. ]

McGillis casts Magarula next, since attacking all enemies might be his better bet when his companion is just a teenage girl. (10) ]

[ The creature continues to pull McGillis a bit deeper under, as it seems the blond's movements did not effect him for that near miss (12).

Sayaka hits the creature at the same time it hits her back, fire colliding with it (12) in the face of those claws (13)

She's trying her best...honestly, they both are but they're having a hard time, it seems! ]

[After finding the exit (and witnessing another vision), Fray's going to go round up everyone else— ohhhhh it looks like you guys found trouble, huh.

Okay, time for a sword slash to try to get that thing off of McGillis! (11) He is very mindful of where that giant sword is aiming so as not to give McGillis any more slices. He doesn't need any more. Let's try not to nearly sever McGillis's leg too, okay.]

[ Well, Fray's sword strike hits the claw stuck in McGillis' leg. It makes a loud noise of distress and retreats, completely running from the battle by not coming out of the ground but digging further, and away to who knows where.

Meanwhile Sayaka targets the other monster with an Agilao once again, hitting the other monster once more (11), though it's still alive enough to strike at Sayaka once again, hurling a Psio this time (15) ]

Enough—

[Leave Sayaka alone, damn you!! Fray launches himself at that one next, eyes glowing red as he swings that sword down in an arc, aiming for the monster's head. (20!) No mercy for those who would target her!!!]

[ ...Well then, just like that, in what one might call a blazing movement and incredible strike of powerful rage, the creature has no way out.

Instead it can only take the blow, which is powerful enough to fell it, slicing through it like it is a sheet of paper, given its already been taking some hits from Sayaka anyway.

What a relief to Sayaka and McGillis...

Just like that, the party of three have claimed victory! ]
