[ There doesn't seem to be much here but a startling amount of darkness no matter how far one traverses down this way or that. Though, there are whispers that start to abound for him who dares to peek down all the curtains. It's hard to tell what they are saying, and they sound more like hissing sounds even to those who listen ardently, but they doubtlessly reach the heart of those who lends it an ear. There will be a lingering, odd effect that is not so strong, and minimal at best:

2/2 Fight Encounter: Parvati

[ Parvati emerges, because apparently Eli has triggered a battle already! Damn. Fortunately it probably isn't too bad, right?

It casts Psio on Eli twice, hitting hard (19) straight off the bat, and misses its second cast already (9).

Ganba. ]

[ Parvati's first hit goes hard. Eli's ducking the second, thankfully, and he staggers back towards the curtains. He'd better lead this thing out into the open, but not before he summons up his Overrruff to launch spikes of ice at the fancy lady monster.... it.... doesn't hit (1). ]

[ Parvati seems incapable of hitting back, fortunately for Eli.

It tries to literally hit him with its own hands, missing (7) and its Psio goes wide (1), but it is stubborn, not letting him go so easily so he has to deal with it first to move on. ]

[ Crud, it won't let him retreat. Well then. Do or die time. Sadly, as he lunges back in with a Giant Slice, he once again whiffs it (4). Things are looking great for him and the Parvati. Amazing. ]

Especially since Parvati whiffs its next move (1), only for it to lash out again with another Psio (14) ]

[ Fuckity fuck fuck, this is embarrassing. After the Psio that lands sends him reeling a step into the darkness, he pauses to recoup instead of attacking (especially since he was about to miss again anyway welp).

He raises his defense with a Rakukaja on himself. ]

[ Mercilessly, the Parvati seems intent on lashing out at him with regular physical hits (11, 11)

It seems to be good at being a pain in the ass, if anything. At least Eli raised his defenses!! ]

[ Raised defenses cut down on some of the damage, but his next try to hit the Parvati misses, too (7). This is bad. Can he call out? Will anyone even hear him?! ]

[And Aaron's here for backup too, launching a Garula (7) that whiffs rip because Parvati just attracts all the bad rolls apparently.]

It laughs in Eli's face when he misses, and laughs again at Aaron. Wow, it's getting REAL cocky now.

Then it turns its attention towards all of them and lashes out with a Mapsio (20), hitting all of them for hard-hitting medium psy damage. Then it throws an extra Bafula (11) at Aaron for ice medium damage as well. ]

[ Thanks for the heal, Sayaka. He'd been looking rough when the two arrived to join the fray. ]

[ But he'll just use that angle to lunge forward again with another GIANT SLICE (17), lashing out to mess the Parvati up with his brass knuckles directly. ]

[ The creature screeches once getting hit for the first time during the battle and those hit HARD.

It's pissed but anything it does is supremely ineffective (1), (3)

Seems SOMEBODY was getting too cozy about having not been hit before!! ]

[Sayaka says this, but promptly whiff the Agi (2) she sends out so like. Balance is restored.]

[Seriously, what is going on here. He's going to try slashing (3) the Parvati but that doesn't lead anywhere either, oops!]

[ Don't worry, Sayaka. Eli is making up for lost ground. He keeps up the barrage of Giant Slice (20), going hard not to give the Parvati a chance to recover. ]

[ It lets out another cry after getting hit pretty hard. From everyone's teamwork, it is already on its last legs...

...evidenced by the fact apparently it is missing again and again (3) (6)

But Avrae has unfortunately decided that the fall will be a bit longer before it hits the ground, because Sayaka attempts to rush down the Parvati (10) and promptly misses it entirely. DAMMIT STOP MOVING AROUND--]

[After that string of misses, Aaron is Mad apparently, so there's nothing fancy in this move, because the only thing he's going to do is run up for a roundhouse kick (18) straight at the Parvati's face.]

[Okay wow that hurts, so he's gonna just toss around a Media because if he's going to heal himself, then he might as well heal everyone else. Can't believe he's playing healer!!]
