[ Frustrating, isn't it? Having to hurt people again and again and again, while they're still too stupid to leave you to your own devices? Or your own destruction?

Maika looks around the place in uncertainty as she picks herself up, brushes herself off. It's not like Aubrey's palace, where the rage felt so resonantly familiar that she thought she knew what to say. Here she's awkward and out of place... though she can't deny the notes of familiarity some of these things have struck with her. ]

...You wanted to become strong. Is that it? You're strong enough now to protect them. Nobody's taking them from you. Is that enough?

[ They aren't fighting. They aren't even going to try. Their words, all about not wanting to hurt his friends, wanting to drag him out of here, a never-ending nightmare, an introduction to his friends and – is this what he really wants? ]

[ His eyes settle on blue.

They do not flicker.

Braphine's Chosen...always straying down the path of sentimentality.

[ A disturbingly familiar voice comes from above, echoing throughout the arena. ]

But not to worry, I did not entirely miscalculate. Such a soft boy proved to be more stubborn than anticipated, but that makes it all the more rewarding to see all of you crumble.

[ You heard right. The God of Conflict is here. He has been watching.

Yoon's eyes begin to flicker again, but they do not settle on a particular color – eventually, the bottom of his irises turn yellow while the top half is still blue, and it settles on that.

Meanwhile, those dragons...

The butterflies from outside of the Palace return. They fly, quicker than before, and swarm into the four people standing in front of Yoon. Then they, too, glow, and take on a stance that no doubt implies they are ready to fight. ]

It would be much easier to have a repeat of last time, but I find this much more entertaining.

[ Suddenly:

The Blue Dragon unsheathes a sword (don't worry, it's not physical) and rushes at Soujuurou. The Green Dragon sends a powerful kick towards Maika. The Yellow Dragon aims for Atem. These three are, notably, warning shots (3, 4, 5).

But the White Dragon does not believe in those, apparently, because he charges at Sunrise and swipes at her with his giant claw (funny, doesn't that look like Yoon's ability?), dealing nuclear damage (12). ]

Stop!!

[ He says through gritted teeth. His hands go on his head and he looks like he's trying to fight something off.

The dragons, however, cannot be stopped.

The God of Conflict laughs. ]

Let the show begin.

[They were getting somewhere. They almost talked Yoon down before a fight could break out.

But then this asshole had to come along...]

[Arven shouts at the God of Conflict before summoning Hestia to use Matarukaja on Sayaka, Soujuurou and Aaron. Enjoy your attack buff!]

[Sayaka's horrified when she hears that voice again. That oppressive voice, that one that ran Jordi through, it causes her to shake in horror for a moment as she clutches both her knife and the one she has from Yi Sang, and she's hoping, hoping for something to intervene so they can stop this--

[Sayaka isn't sure what to do, but...this is going to suck. This is going to hurt her as much as it hurts them.

Anyway, while he would love to target the god of conflict himself, the white dragon is charging Sunrise, so he aims a Giant Slice at the White Dragon (11) to try and intervene before she can get too hurt.]

[Haruka knows that the god wants a fight—that's his whole schtick, after all—and he's not the sort of person who does what people want from him, not anymore.

So he looks at the dragons, grits his teeth, and turns to run towards Yoon, sprinting as fast as he can. He's not going to be able to carry him, but he's going to help Shalem (19), offering whatever support he can. If Yoon is especially wriggly or tries to fight back...]

[But they do need to defend themselves, so he will draw his swords and go after one of the four dragons. Considering Mr. White Dragon over there already went straight for Sunrise, Aaron will target the dragon claw with a few sword slashes (16) to try and hinder any further attempts at attacking.]

[Truly unfortunate that we're yet again stuck dealing with the God of Conflict and yet unable to actually do anything to him... But it's also not really a surprise at this point. Fray will apologize to Yoon later for this, but for now, it's time to strike. He follow's Celeste's lead and targets the White Dragon with Thunderous Rage, striking with that massive sword and Electric element. (19)]

[ soujuurou responds to the blue dragon's warning shot with a warning shot of his own (3). his expression is neutral, but there's a clear frustration in his eyes.

he talks to the blue dragon, his voice level. ]

When the party ensures Yoon is safely away from danger, Yi Sang casts Maeiha on the dragons, summoning upward spikes of curse damage for each. (18, 5, 20, 13).

It's a really good hit on the Blue Dragon, a miss on the Green Dragon, a critical hit on the Yellow Dragon, and a decent hit on the White Dragon. ]
