[We are all watching the poor people on the ground rn, partially to make sure she doesn't trip over one, partially wondering if maybe they need to do something to help them later...]

[ Nah, not all of them are. Just a few. But they get back to her house, and she gestures to where they can put the fabric down. ]

[ Especially Aubrey. Dang. She looks a little sad, and then she hands them 1 roll of fabric (that they can use however they'd like) and 5 gold total! ]

[ Some people are injured, yeah. Some of the wounds look fresh, others look like they've been hurt for at least a day or so without treatment. One of them weakly looks up at the three of them – ]

[ Aerith bends down a little bit, careful as she does. ]

We’re not going to. We were actually wondering if we could help you get to some shelter.

[ And potentially treat those wounds—would healing work on them here, she wonders. ]

[Fray kneels down beside them, lowering his voice to something almost approaching gentle.]

She's right, we're not here to hurt you. Hold still; I'll heal your injuries.

[ Healing does, indeed, seem to work here! This is a Palace, after all! The person being tended to will not have their wounds completely healed, but they are at least feeling better enough to have a chat with Fray and Aerith. ]

I-I was attacked by bandits a day or so ago. They took everything I had. There was a young boy who tried to take from me a few days ago as well, but that didn't hurt nearly as much. I know he lives here, too...
