[ In the Nekyia, characters will find that something different is happening yet again. The area where the city's library is has transformed slightly. The building is still there, but there are vines, plants, trees growing on and around it. It looks like it's being overrun with forestry, almost like the plants are trying to overtake the building. There are ethereal-like butterflies in different colors – red, white, blue, green, and yellow – fluttering around. They are all emitting a soft glow.
However, you can tell that the library is pitch black, but something inside of the library is glowing even brighter than the butterflies. Its glow is a light shade of orange, the one sign of light in an otherwise dark building.
[Just like with previous palaces, Arven finds himself here without really thinking about it.]
It's happening again...
[As calm and serious as he tries to sound about it, he can't actually hide the trepidation in his voice. What happened with Soujuurou might have turned out okay in the end, but it's impossible to forget Jordi's fate.]
[ Despite being overrun, the library looks full of life—reclaimed by the planet. Though she's worried, Aerith decides to take this as a good sign. New beginnings, a new chance at life despite being abandoned.
It's tempting to reach out and touch one of the butterflies, and she almost does, but decides instead that the best thing to do is to go towards that light. ]
[Well, this is clearly a normal situation. An overgrown library and glowing butterflies would be pretty in other circumstances, like something out of a fairytale, but like this...]
This place is kind of creepy.
[He doesn't head inside just yet, deciding to approach with caution, but he's scanning the area to see if there's anything that stands out, or if it looks like the butterflies are concentrated around anything specific.]
[ Good observation! The butterflies are fluttering around the building throughout, but they seem to be more centralized near the entrance. It is unclear if they are trying to get in, attracted to something near it, or simply trying to protect it. ]
[Right, well, Fray's here and... hopefully not going to immediately jump to a fight, but assuming there's nothing else noteworthy on the outside of the library, he's going to go ahead and head on inside. Might as well see what's up with whatever's glowing in here, right?]
[Logic would dictate that one shouldn't go into the overgrown, pitch-black library.
But the glow inside hints at something to be discovered, and so it's against Richard's better judgment that he begins to make his way inside, headed towards that light.]
[ You go into the library, some of you without much apprehension – it is, indeed, dark in here, minus the singular the glowing object in the room. It is situated on a tabletop in the middle of the first floor.
The butterflies seem to follow you all inside, though, and towards the object. Are they leading you? Protecting it? ... Warning you?
Either way, those who get closer can see that the object is...a book! And despite your closeness, the butterflies do not advance towards you. What will you do now? ]

Like moths to a flame... [Shalem sighs, leaning on his quarterstaff for support.]
And I willingly become a moth.
[No you're a snake, silly--]

Feathers has been acting pretty weird all week, and this place doesn't have enough roses to be the knight, so I'd place my bets on the kid.
