( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

I do my best to live in cities with a robust night life, so my own nature does not seem amiss.
[It's certainly easier nowadays than it was twenty years ago! Much less longer!
But oh, wait, hold on, enough about him. He had a feeling that question would really get Argenti going, but this is better than expected. He's on the table! He's sparkling more than ever! There is a spotlight and rose petals from the ether...!
Half of what he's saying goes way over Celeste's head, but he's still watching and listening with rapt attention. And are the sparkles contagious, or is Argenti's mysterious spotlight just picking up some glitter he couldn't quite wash off completely? It's difficult to say.]

What a good strategy it is indeed! I am certain you must be known throughout many a city by now as well.
[ Enabler has enabled standing-on-table shenanigans. Has he no shame?! Well, considering everything though this isn't so bad. Even if it's probably going to get a lot of bystanders staring dead-eyed or blinded, whichever comes first.
But, it seems he has a rapt keen-eared and eyed audience of one, so that definitely makes up for it by far. ]
I had no idea you had such a large family! They must be rather pleasant individuals. While it is a pity you and others from your world have not heard of Idrila, your assurance that there are those who would find themselves deep in their dedication to Beauty is more than assuring! I do wonder who you may be thinking of that may, however.

[Argenti, he's on billboards and advertisements... In costume, sure, so no one really quite knows it's him, but still...!
But, ah, he's been reprimanded about being an instigator, so despite still paying way more attention to Argenti's overtures than he's likely used to, he does gesture that he should probably get down.]

And, well. 'Large family' does make his own sparkling lessen quite a bit.]
It is... not a family, per se. [But it is? Kind of? They're related by vitae, not by blood, which is a very flimsy distinction.] When one becomes what I am, we inherit certain traits of those who embraced us, and we call those distinctions clans. My own inherits an appreciation for beauty not unlike your own, even if there was none before. [Though, like, they usually tend to go for dramatic, artistly types off the bat.] I do not think it would be possible to know everyone in clan Toreador, let alone be close enough to be family. [Drama queens as they can be...]
I suspect someone would bring you in sooner or later, though, if you caught the attention of the wrong person.
[Probably someone in the Archangel cult, too... Which Argenti would surely have little trouble making a branch of dedicated to Idrila instead of, you know. Michael. The Archangel. Who was apparently also a vampire. (Or more likely someone renamed themselves after him, but that's not as funny.)]

Embraced is a word for it, then? Ah, as it seems like you have quite a large clan it is understandable you shall not come to know everyone there. Though, I do wonder why is it that it is hard to be close to any one of them at all. If you all appreciate Beauty so deeply and profoundly as well...then I'd imagine it could have been possible to be close to at least some.

I suppose it is not impossible, to catch the eye of someone foul, though I am a Knight of Beauty. As I travel often, encountering villains is not unusual - I imagine that it would be the same, and I should be able to dispatch such foul individuals.
...But, I do also wish to say that I am very sorry to hear such news. As in, strictly speaking, that you are the only one of your family that remains. And, I do hope that the bonds you have crafted at least do make up for it.

Mmhm~ It is very possible to know others well! I know my sire - ah, the man who made me what I am - well, and have met others, but to expect to know every member of a clan... well, it would be like trying to meet every member of a small nation, I think. [Exhausting and complicated--] And would surely restrict us from meeting others not so similar to ourselves.

If anyone could dispatch such villains, I am certain it would be you. You'd lure them into a false sense of security, after all.

They... do, I think. Though it's been so long, I'd likely be the last one left regardless, so that's some solace.

...Oh! I do certainly understand the dilemma. I understand well that it would mean to lower the opportunity to meet such unique and splendid individuals out there.
[ Though, Argenti laughs lightly at what the other male says next. He thinks he can certainly imagine that he would. People do not always take him seriously...and for those who stand for evil, who do not think he will not strike without hesitating, that is the last mistake they ever make. ]
Yes, I can imagine that I would. There are those who might not know a threat against the cruelly wicked when they see it. But, even if I do not mean to brag, as a Knight of Beauty I shall consider it ever a mark of fortune as well.
...Still, with that being said, I am most happy to hear that there is solace and that what people you've crossed paths with could stand to provide a sturdy gathering of connections so you do not feel like an island.
