post palace takeout! [week 5]

( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

this is how they find themselves in something akin to a denny's or an ihop at like, midnight.

I am glad to hear it. Your absence would be missed if you didn't.

I had not met a group so insistent about including me anything.

[Kirumi has to admit that much! Not that it bothers her, it just is very unusual! There always were some people who tried not to ask much of her, but here it feels as if the majority are like that!]

And why would we not?

[Even not considering the fact that most people here - at the Dennihop and otherwise - didn't seem the type to have a maid (or at least not a Kirumi-style "do everything at your beck and call" maid), there's still the fact that they did just go through a lot together! It makes sense they'd want to include her!

I am not disappointed about it.

[She's not a stoic soulless robot, after all. She's as human as everyone else, with the emotional needs everyone has. She just tends to shove that down, but here it seems that won't be a choice. Kirumi will have to Socialize as a person]
