post palace takeout! [week 5]

( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

this is how they find themselves in something akin to a denny's or an ihop at like, midnight.

I do not go out for pancakes at all! ...Until now, I suppose.

She likes to photograph cute or beautiful food, as well as herself. She's very pretty and fashionable, so her photos get a lot of attention. Our city also has a lot of events where unique foods are offered for a limited time, so she likes to go to them.

She sounds like quite an exciting and lively individual to be around - after all, her hobbies do, truly, sound quite radiant! And, of course, fun.

Do you enjoy such hobbies yourself?

[ Argenti is a little bit...curious. ]

... I raise seagrass in an aquarium. I'm not home a lot, so I didn't want to introduce fish to a dark room all the time, but I like watching the grass sway in the water. And we all work on music together- I write our lyrics, and working on the sound mixing is relaxing to me. I'm also in the archery club back home.

It seems quite varied to me!

Though, that is splendid in of itself as well. It is a sign that one seeks to live their life to the fullest!

[ At least, that is what Argenti thinks. He thinks he will put in an order for those rainbow pancakes while they're at it. ]

What inspired you and your friends to work on music together?

Kanade wants to write music that can save others- that... allows those in pain to find healing. ... Her solo work touched us all, and one by one we joined up with her. She's a very warm person, so I think... she will find what she seeks.

...I understand.

[ Argenti closes his eyes for a moment, before opening them again. It is truly the embodiment of Beauty, he feels.

Writing music to rescue others, to have it console, and heal them with its messages, its sound - how can he hope to think otherwise? His expression even softens as he considers this closely. ]

That is an admirable pursuit. All of you coming together in order to assist her so that you can all help others as well. I cannot think of it as anything less than truly a beautiful path that you have all undertaken.

You and your dear friends have kind hearts. I wish for them to remain as such as you all endeavor to help others, and continue your way forward.

Mm... they're... what keeps me going, I think. I'm scared to go home, but I want to go back to them, too.

( mafuyu yawns, politely behind her hand of course, and rubs her eyes. hopefully once they put their orders in, they can eat soon. )

[ Ah, so she tires, which isn't unreasonable to him...Argenti tries to wave over someone to take their order, at that.

Regardless, the sentiment that Mafuyu conveys is heart-warming and it does invite some concern, because he wonders exactly what would make her scared to return. Hmm, perhaps he should in retrospect ask dear Braphine some questions about the state of their homeworlds/universes, or the like. ]

I am glad that they motivate you so gr in life, and that the idea of returning to them ameliorates that fear within your gentle soul. I can also only hope that eventually they shall make it dissipate entirely when you do return.
