( at some point a bedraggled lot in yukatas manage to make their way to the dorm, shower and patch themselves up. and then mafuyu makes a very earnest request that they all go out for dinner, and, well, apparently many struggle to refuse her.

this is how they find themselves in something akin to a denny's or an ihop at like, midnight.

[ Yi Sang is here, cleaned up (his hair is damp with a giant cowlick), and dressed plainly. Shirt and slacks I guess. It would be weird not to go when it was offered, and he was actually pretty hungry.

...Buddy. Why are you eating a savory breakfast combo (eggs, bacon, hash browns, sliced avocado)...

On top of a pancake stack??? There's a few stray colored pancakes in there... Why is this an option? On that note, they let Yi Sang order a cup of coffee at midnight. That might be the other crime here.

He's eyeing either the ketchup or the maple syrup to put on top of his savory pancake combo. ]

[ For what it's worth, Sunrise isn't judging Yi Sang's meal choices so much as she seems thoughtful... ]

In terms of quality or the flavor?

...I would eat it again. But I am aware that my sense of taste is abnormal and that in most cases, it would not be the most ideal to subject others to my preferences.

...If it helps Mr. Yi Sang, I cannot taste anything and prefer things based on their texture and spiciness.

[ Which she means to say it's fine to subject her to his preferences because frankly she will likely not be bothered. ]

Unfortunately, there is no spice to this dish, as I didn't think to add hot sauce to it. I can also expect it to be a bit dry aside from the egg.

Perhaps. The texture is rather dry without a sauce.

You could divide it in two stacks and apply one to each.

That is a solution. They would not work together in one dish, would they?

You also could make a third pile, to add both together and see if it works out.
