[ three things happen immediately after the blade in jordi's chest dissolves into darkness.
1.) lumen falls forward, right into haruka's personal space. better catch him. 2.)the storm starts up again, and it sounds closer than ever. ominous thunder, lightning streaking across the sky, and the rushing howl of seawater loud enough to drown out regular conversation. 3.) below them, the lighthouse starts to crumble. everyone will be able to feel the metal floor shaking beneath them, threatening to sink into the depths of the ocean.
better get out of there before it's too late. there's only one way down, after all. ]
Okay, no. The lighthouse starts to crumble, they need to get out now.]
--Everyone, we need to get out of here, now!
[...HEY HARUKA DO YOU WANT HELP CARRYING LUMEN, SAYAKA WILL GLADLY HELP, SHE'S BEEN MOSTLY FINE THIS BATTLE--she is going to run over nonetheless to try and help get him out of here.]
[Haruka manages to catch Lumen, stopping the man from hitting the ground, but it highlights the way the cut on his arm hasn't been healed yet. Not that his own injuries are on Haruka's mind, him casting Media on Lumen and pressing a hand to his chest. He can only put pressure on one side of the would like this, and even if the blue blood makes him feel squeamish... He has to do do something.]
We need to stop the bleeding, or Lumen-san—Jordi-san?— might...
[YEAH, HE'D APPRECIATE HELP CARRYING HIM... Haruka is in shape, sure, but that doesn't mean he can haul around a man bigger than him!!! They also don't have much time to get out of there, but his own safety is the last thing he cares about right now.]
[He's Right Here as well, and actually taller than Jordi, so after the healing spells have been cast, he'll just scoop him up off of Haruka. Sure, he'd been... very active in trying to take him out, but he wasn't trying to actively kill the guy, not really, so the least he can do is help get him out.]
[Well, this is definitely one way for Richard to get over his hesitation when it comes to healing or buffing other people.
In his own mind, he feels the blade tearing into flesh, remembers well the bloom of pain that accompanies it, and for a moment what his eyes are seeing isn't the scene in front of him. He stands frozen, rooted to the ground, not even breathing until his body reminds him that that is a necessary thing; then he sucks in a lungful of air and forcefully pulls himself back to reality.
And then he's casting Diarama on Jordi, hoping that it will somehow be enough.]
[ children who know nothing should say nothing, and that’s exactly what soujuurou does. it’s not like he has any other choice, as his words are immediately cut short by the appearance of that and—
oh.
soujuurou’s arm is still outstretched, holding the bangle that he wanted to give back to jordi— it’s his after all. with his thoughts and emotions blank, he watches as jordi’s body collapses. in the back of his head, he realizes that he has never actually seen a person getting attacked before. the corpse of that familiar person had died on their own, and alice and aozaki had not been attacked while he was present. this was a new form of powerlessness that he had never experienced before, and it leaves him empty and hollowed out. the rumbling of the storm and the shaking of the lighthouse are nothing but distant things for him. all he can do is stare forward. ]
[So the adults seem to have Jordi handled, but Sayaka rushes on over to Soujuurou to check in with him--he's collapsed after all, and while physical contact still isn't her strongest suit, she can build a bridge and get over herself just this once to gently go over to him and try to help.]
Shizuki-kun, hey--do you need some help getting up? You can't stay here, this place is going to fall apart--we don't want you getting hurt here. Come on--Jordi-san's going to be okay once we get out. Okay...?
[...If he doesn't respond, she and her stupid twig limbs ARE going to try and pick him up and like. Drag him on out of here if needed. YOU ARE NOT DYING TODAY.]
[ soujuurou snaps back into attention the monent that sayaka calls out for him. her voice is still distant, and it takes a superhuman effort to pull his gaze away from the spot he’s at, algae and everything but… somehow he manages it. ]
Right. We have to continue.
[ he picks himself up with little help, despite the way that his muscles are stiff with exhaustion. he looks at the spot where jordi stood, and wonders if he was wrong for wanting to not fight. ]
[ When Argenti hears that voice, he feels his blood run cold...
But even far more worse is the intercession that happens from that bastard wretched creature, a dire crimson blade piercing straight through Jordi so easily and quickly it is laughable in the worst of ways.
For a moment, it feels like everything has come to a stop. Unable to do anything to prevent it, unable to prevent the blade from tearing straight into Jordi, right before his very eyes. Even if he has had a building fear that the man may result in far too many injuries beforehand, this is what stakes it, straight into his heart. ]
JORDI!
[ For the first time in a long time, fury, regret, guilt, and helplessness rises like a tide and he is temporarily subsumed within.
He can't be...he can't be dead, can he? He hasn't just lost another friend...he prays desperately to Idrila that Jordi will be alive. He has to believe in that. It's delusional, another thought comes, alongside others that are even far worse than that, but Argenti ignores it. He forces himself into action. ]
[Wow, so that was a whole lot to bear witness to, especially given that he had a front row seat to the entire thing. He finds himself reflexively looking for the source of the voice even though he’s 99.9% sure it’s pointless given who’s probably speaking, but when the lighthouse starts rumbling beneath them, it’s clear it’s time to get out. And while he normally wouldn’t have trouble keeping his balance, he’s tired, has a bum leg, and avrae hates letting him succeed at anything but hitting things, so he’s going down. Again.
Also he still has a Forget status effect on him so he can’t even heal himself. How wonderful!]
[ he can't do jack shit about the forget spell but he can do something about the lost hp at least, casting a dia over at aaron before holding out a hand to kind of help him up. they need to skedaddle stat. ]
You don't strike me as the type to go down that easy.
[The Dia definitely helps enough that even if his leg isn’t in perfect condition, he can probably manage to hobble his way down. Still, there’s some reluctance there when he takes Joshua’s hand so he can pull himself up, but he knows well enough by now that pride comes before the fall.]
Course not. [A huff.] Not gonna croak in this cesspit when I’ve got way too much shit to do back home.
McGillis has a lot to say about the whole situation with the battle between Braphine and the god of conflict but now is not the time to say that shit. They have to get out and they have to get out now.
Maybe it's practicality, or maybe it's a little bit of guilt over his part in summoning the god of conflict here, but McGillis will cast several Media over the party to heal everyone up (including Jordi). He hasn't done anything with his Persona yet, so his energy reserves are pretty good.
[Richard is very much not okay right now, but it's fine. This is all fine. With the lighthouse beginning to shake and crumble the way it is, there's no time to think about anything beyond getting out of here before they all end up in the ocean.
Except that the way out of here is still blocked by that algae, and someone is going to need to do something about that before any of them can leave.]
Lambda!
[Richard immediately begins casting Me Patra on the algae blocking the path out, trying to clear enough of it away to allow them to slip through. As he does so, he turns to yell to the others:]
[For being dead himself, Celeste is... somewhat of a stranger to it. He was turned for a second shot at life, and generally avoids draining others completely, so all this...
Well. There's no time to be unsettled by it.
With Haruka overwhelmed by Lumen collapsing on him, he's quick to gather the limp body up in his arms with a surprising gentleness given how vicious he'd been throughout the fight, holding him in such a way that his shoulder can put pressure on the wound while he makes to carry him down and out of the lighthouse.
He does try to not be first in line, though - better to let those with some scraps of energy (and the knowledge of me patra) remaining go first to clear the algae, and sticking near the middle of the group in general would allow more people to cast heals on their former companion turned unwilling enemy.]

Wh--?! What just happened?! Who was that?!
[Arven staggers as the ground rumbles beneath him. Oh, shit. This place is coming down, isn't it? He's so tired, but...]
I-I'm with Maizono! We gotta go! C'mon, Mabosstiff, let's help the others--

Sunrise is no stranger to hyperviolence, but everything happens so quickly and suddenly that she's barely able to form an opinion at all.
