[Just a little bit of looking around and she'll spot the figure! They're lurking on the edge of a crowd near one of the other teahouses. Just standing there. Maybe only that guy on the bridge was a belligerent dick?

When she approaches the shadow, it speaks;]

I can't believe that Sakamoto saddled me with such a ruffian as a bodyguard… Are you going to set that demon straight?

... That's the plan, yes. But if there's anything more you could tell me, that would be appreciated.

[The shadow figure stares at her for a long moment, as if struggling to decide if it wants to help... But eventually seems to just turn its head, dismissive.]

I have nothing more to say on the matter.

[It does, however, hold out another one of those metal pieces.]

... That's alright. Thank you, anyway.

( she even gives a polite bow as she accepts. she's a proper young lady, after all. what IS the item, anyways? )

[If Mafuyu has spent any time looking at Katanas, she will identify it as looking like a piece of tsuba/hand guard.

If not, she'll find that information supplied by Sunrise when she returns to the group as it's the same as the others!]

[A pause, but then Mafuyu's charm seems to work her magic, and the shadow says;]

I'm not. They are. The enemy.

[beathollow]

... I see. Thank you again. I hope you have a good night, then.

( unless he has more to say, she'll take her leave. )
