[ Two on two? Now it's not even a challenge. Maika, having finally found her footing again, dodges that Garula. And then she tenses to pounce. ]

[ Springing towards Sandman 2, she lashes out with a Fang, Claw, and Fulguration (20) that lets out an incredibly satisfying growl of electric energy. SP conservation is for after this. For now, she wants to savor rending and tearing while she has the chance. ]

[Wait why is he on the ground again WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING.

Arven's very pissed off when he drags himself back to his feet this time. No healing, no cures, he's going straight for some DPS.]

[A ball of flame appears in Arven's frying pan. After tossing it like a stir fry, he sends it flying right at sandman 2 (16).]

Sandman 2 gives a screech in pain as it's struck - hard. It looks like it's on its last legs.

Sandman 2 Casts Magaru! It misses Aaron (8) and Maika (3) but hits Arven (14).

Sandman 3 Casts Garula on Maika! It misses (3)

[He lets out a whistle at Maika's supereffective attack and Arven's quick follow-up.]

Hell of a one-two punch -- so let's go three for three!

[Jiutian Xuannü appears behind him as a gale whips around his blades before he thrusts them straight at Sandman 2's head (19), hopefully downing that one too.]

There better not be more of these.

[ She wants to get to that bag and apprehend whatever they were running off with; she might not know what's going on, but she's damn sure it's not something monsters should have their grubby hands on. Emboldened by her last success she tries to slash at Sandman 2 (4), but has to dodge aside from the incoming rush of wind spells. ]

Tch! That trick is getting old!

[Ugh, he's just taking blow after blow. It's starting to wear him down, even with the heals. He attempts to raise his frying pan to just try to attack and get this fight over with, but he's stopped by the pain.]

Hhhgh...fine. [He lowers his weapon to call for his persona.] Hestia, again!

[Another round of Media goes out for the group.]

With a shriek, Sandman 2 goes down! Only Sandman 3 remains.

Looking side to side in realization that its allies are both gone, Sandman 3 casts Dormina on Aaron (14)! Please take a nap and stop hitting it so hard thank you.

[ Uh... So much for their team morale leader. This is probably restoring the balance of Maika's dignity, or something. ]

[ Someone can teach her how "please" works later. She dodges past Aaron's now napping body to rake her clawed gauntlet (18) right down Sandman 3 from stem to stern. ]

[Arven she wouldn't have heard you she was asleep- Whatever. Whatever! He'll wake Aaron up with Me Patra and not a slap. Though maybe if he needs to conserve his power later...]

Sandman 3 takes the hit - hard. It's not looking so good...

In a fit of desperation, it whacks Maika with its bag (17).

[Thankfully, the Me Patra does his trick and he blinks awake, although not without frowning at being left lying in trash!!!]

[He's still a bit drowsy, so he goes for a simple slash at the last Sandman (11).]

[ In perfect accord with Aaron, as she gets smacked across the face hard with whatever is in that bag: ]

[ It has to be getting close to dead, so she spitefully decides to burn more energy than it probably warrants. Anubis materializes behind her again and she lashes out with a Lunge (12) for light physical damage. ]

The attacks are sufficient - Sandman 3 finally disappears with a shriek.

As it fades into nothingness, it leaves behind scattered polaroid photos on the ground.

Damn, those assholes were annoying. Did we seriously go through all that for a bunch of pictures?

[Sleep status sucks, news at 11!! Anyway, since there don't seem to be any Shadows left in the immediate vicinity, he sheathes his swords for now so he can pick up the photos. Of course, if Maika or Arven also want to take a gander, he'll hand them over. But at a glance, how many of them are there, and can they see anything on them or nah?]

There are four photos in total. Though they can’t be fully seen, there’s movement behind the black marker lines that cover the subjects within - not only that, but staring into them seems to draw your character in, knowing somehow in their heart that they must go into that place somehow, must return to those times...

But how are they to do that when the photos remain in such a state...?

[ Photos — memories are important, so Maika just gives a grunt to that. But she can't make out anything through the scribbles, and her utility here most likely ended at dicing things with her claws. ]

...Looks like it. But they're not going to be any use like this.

[ Maika will do a quick scan around the kitchen area for any not-trash tools that might be handy, leaving Aaron with the photos. Anything else needful here? ]
