[Suddenly a classroom schoolbell rings, and everything turns bright once more. The group is greeted by the sight of a classroom at the end of the day, with students grabbing their things and filtering out.
A familiar face is off to one side, stuffing his books in his bag and preparing to leave. He does not look up from his task at all, but he does have a small smile on his face. Looks like he's happy about something.
Near the groups is a trio of students, two girls and a boy, talking about some happenings after school. One girl glances over to where the familiar face is, and says something that can be overheard:]
You don't think that Tsukimi kid will show up, do you?
[The boy speaks up next.]
Nah, he's probably got plans to study or something. He never goes to our usual hangouts.
[The third girl speaks up now:]
It's for the best, he's kind of weird. It'd throw the vibes off.
[It seems that the familiar face has heard that, because his smile disappears from his face. He finishes packing up his stuff and hurries out of the classroom.]
[Which will you choose? Follow the familiar face, listen to the gossip, or investigate the room?]
What-- are we meant to vote for this one too? [Even more unimpressed. This tactic is stifling. He went for the majority but kind of regrets it now. Everyone here is too... soft and indecisive...]
Very well. I'd prefer to follow the boy.
[And then he points at the familiar face. Tsukimi, Sou, his name at this venture doesn't matter. It's his actions.]
[ Whispering, so as not to interrupt the scene (not that it's possible, he doesn't think).
As a schoolteacher, he's seen similar sights one too many times. Usually he'd scold the children doing the bullying but it seems much more imperative they follow the boy. ]
Then I'd say the same. I don't think staying is an option.
[Following the familiar face it is! He slips his backpack on and heads out into the hallway, and the rest of you can follow him.
Down the hallway he goes, dodging around the various students mingling about. He pauses for a moment to look at the exam results posted in the hall, then hurries to his shoe locker. Would you like to check anything here before the teen leaves the building?]
[Checking the locker, why not (18). Why are these lockers so small... So many classes in a day and they have to lug their heavy bags everywhere? Cruel, unusual.
[Once everyone has finished looking around, everyone will be skipped ahead to the park. The person they had been following is sitting on a swing, and a young man is sitting on the other. While the teen is smiling and talking happily, there's something about this man's responses that seem off...
They talk about many topics, which one are you listening to? Work, School, Health, or something else of your choosing?]

[ he's back here to report on his findings after listening to the dialogue loop like twice. ]
Following him seems wise, though. I don't think we'll find out much about Sou from these people if they already have a negative opinion about him.
