It's a normal morning for anyone who's managing to sleep a standard schedule- up until a mass text goes out, that is. Everyone will find the same thing from either Mafuyu or Aerith's username:
... Simple enough. And should you choose to attend, both your hostesses will be pleased to see you once it's time to head over.
As they said, the aquarium is largely empty save for the group, and it's definitely worth it. A serene song plays overhead while attendants give tours or explanations as needed. The variety of aquatic life is surprisingly vast as well, and spacious halls give way to plenty of opportunity to explore.
Come nightfall, certain rooms dim the lights but the tanks stay lit- or black lit as darker enclosures like the jellyfish hall and the octopus tanks remain- and only a few staff remain to keep an eye on things- so... stay on your best behavior. The two restaurants stay open- a regular fast food joint with kitschy island cabana theming, and a much more upscale lounge where Aerith plans on corralling the adults for fun this evening.
Once it's time for the age groups to split, Aerith will lead the adults to a pleasant lounge with more tanks, large couches or more private tables, and a view overlooking one of the main rooms of the aquarium- wave to the kids if they're there! Or don't. Bouquets of flowers are placed around the room, and it looks like Aerith has a few ideas already, though she won't stop anyone from going out to review the different sections again.
Contrasting Mafuyu, who is content to let the fellow teens do whatever- though if they do congregate, she's not really the social sort and will simply be content to enjoy the vibes. Even if you just want to take a nap somewhere, there's plenty of dark secluded areas to do so.

We've not! [ He's about to say more, when Argenti introduces himself as a knight and Rutile positively sparkles. ]
Oh my gosh, you're a knight? That's so cool!
[ He sticks his hand out! Please shake his hand!! ]
I'm just a schoolteacher, but one of my friends is a knight! I'm Rutile!

I believe even schoolteachers are radiant and are those who can embody Beauty like knights in their own way. I am certain your students are also quite fond of you.
To that end, it is truly a pleasure meeting you, Rutile.
I am most grateful for the encounter!
[ The red-haired knight proves this by reaching out to grab a hold of that hand to shake it gently, yet firmly. ]

But also, he looks proud. His students are fond of him! Thank you for noticing! ]
Oh, no! It's both my pleasure and my gratitude! You have such a wonderful way of words.
[ Poetic, even! Rutile would think him a Westerner if he didn't know any better. How does it feel to be assigned West two games in a row, Lum? ]
You really are beautiful! Does your Order only take beautiful people?

If he can make someone feel that proud of their own efforts even though he has just met them... then, he has done well. ]
You are most welcome, Rutile.
I appreciate all of your gracious compliments in return.
[ It's only polite to receive them graciously, and he will even sparkle like he usually does. But yeah he does give off West vibes, doesn't he? Imagine him in a wizard game- ]
And to address your question properly, it is a matter of course that a Knight of Beauty is beautiful. No matter who they are, they shall be granted blessings by Idrila, and fittingly embody Beauty as a reflection of the goddess' beautiful image.
[ So, yes...? ]

Rutile puts his hands to his mouth like :rutilegasp: as he studies Argenti. Such dedication... ]
I suppose Idrila is your patron...spirit? [ Thinking... ] I can't imagine one joins your knight order unless they were beautiful in some manner beforehand, too.

Patron spirit? That is an interesting way of phrasing it! I follow Idrila ardently as my Aeon, and Idrila herself is known as the Aeon of Beauty. What does 'patron spirit' mean to you, Rutile?
[ THEY, Idrila, are remarkable in everything that they do. Well...that should be the case, but it's kind of questionable; don't worry about it, though. ]
Still, you're not wrong. Even if their appearance was not necessarily up to those standards, somewhere inside of them would be 'beautiful', a perfect embodiment of Beauty itself. I wasn't exactly the person I looked now when I joined the Knights of Beauty, so joining isn't necessarily based on the initial appearance of an individual. The actions, the drive, the desire...to shower Beauty across the universe must also be second to none.
Or perhaps the inspiration within someone's soul will light their way to becoming a Knight of Beauty. But, it certainly isn't for the faint of heart.

[ He thought so! He also thought that even if Argenti wasn't beautiful on the outside to begin with, there must have been something inside of him that drove him to join. Call it an artist's intuition (needs citation). ]
I see. It sounds like hard work, but you also sound really fulfilled being a part of the knights! That's good, I'm glad.
[ Yay!
But to circle back to Argenti's question, he immediately gives a small, sheepish smile. ]
I...don't know if I could define "patron spirit" for you, though. I've never really heard of a named spirit before, much less one like you describe, but I don't want to ignore the possibility that there could be named spirits and whatnot. [ Forgive him, he's weak and still learning... ]

I certainly am! Each Knight has their own way of following the Path of Beauty, and I am no different.
[ Though...Argenti is thinking long and hard about how he wishes to continue to follow said Path. Before, even with his open definition and commitment to Beauty, it felt like he was being restricted. He thinks, somehow, it's changed in some ways even if his core and devotion to Beauty itself hasn't. Saying this certainly reminds him of that. ]
It sounds quite interesting. The nature of spirits in your world, at least. I wonder if there are other kinds of spirits beyond patron ones...or other supernatural entities.
