[ some time after Atem's palace when everyone has had the time to get back from braphine's temple, and more importantly get that sand out of your everything (and enjoy NOT 40 degree Celsius weather)

everyone who was in Atem's palace will find themselves suddenly added to a group chat by joshua and he just sends a singular address

it's the address to a shawarma place that somehow magically has a big enough table to fit 14 people. amazing. we love fluid locations like this.

After a moment, she asks something quietly of the waiter. After another, he brings out a glass of mint lemonade for yoon. it looks almost creamy, but it should be sweet and refreshing for him. )

[ He's quiet for a moment, not really knowing what to say, and then he looks at her again. He didn't get to talk to her after her Palace, so now's a good time, he thinks. ]

I got off easy, I think. I'm just tired. But I wanted to be sure everyone was alright.

( "easy" when she got dragged from her rest immediately after her own palace and then got pushed so hard she had to resort to violence, something she actively abhors. but, sure. )

Whenever my music group releases a new song, we go to a diner to celebrate. Mizuki always orders fries. ( hence her fry theft. ) ... And, usually, at the end of palaces, its a lot more lively. Everyone is relieved and happy, so... we celebrate.

It's not the same this time, but- like I said, it didn't seem to be a good idea to leave everyone alone right now.

( she's assuming they didn't for her own palace because they wanted her to rest, given that her mother's shadow made at least one attempt on her life. given arven's distress between the palace and dinner, she's pretty sure she's right. )
