[ Well. Bug hits and McGillis suddenly looks at everyone around him with very different eyes. ]

[ Though his words are angry, they don't seem to be directed at anybody in particular. He's talking from a real fear, but it doesn't have a genuine direction. When he attacks, it's pretty much at random... which means Haruka is hit with a Giant Slice (17). ]

[He was expecting the brainwashing to rear it's ugly head again, but come on! Why's he got to get caught in the crossfire?! That hit is pretty significant, too, and Haruka stumbles back. He doesn't stop to heal himself, though, the Little Mermaid floating behind him and blowing angry, fiery bubbles that... don't anything (1......).]

Why do you have to hit so hard when your brain's getting fucked with? That fucking hurt...!

[ At this point, Fray's Energy Shower does hit McGillis and he blinks, waking from his trance. A hand goes to his head, as if he could will the uneasy feeling of invasion out of it physically. ]

[It's okay, Haruka isn't expecting one. His white clothes are definitely even more stained than they were before, though, but he just lets himself bleed for a bit. It's fine, it's not a fatal hit.]

[ After another two deep breaths, McGillis nods. ]

[ Invading his mind is about the most unpleasant thing you can do to him, so now this thing is personal even more so than it was before. ]
