[ soujuurou nods, understanding that this is clearly something important to others here, and he would rather not shake the boat with his ignorance. he understands the importance of family, and the ways that familial bonds work in the wild-- a mother's duty to raise their child to survive in the wild, by protecting it from predators, bringing it food, etc. etc.

but he doesn't know how a familial bond can be made between people that aren't related by blood. animal packs are one thing, but even those are usually done to increase hunting odds and don't have the same weight as family would. soujuurou would compare that to 'friendship'.

what izou is talking about seems to be different, however. soujuurou himself can't fully wrap his head around it, as he's never had a family to call his own in the first place, but he figures that if this is what the others say, then he has no right to say anything against it. ]

That's a really strong bond.
