[ She tries to sound positive though her teeth is chattering. Ai gratefully accepts the cape and wraps it around her. Luckily, she's not as underdressed as some folks. She's wearing a sweatshirt and pulls the hood over her head. ]

[That actually gets a little smile out of Richard! If she can be in good spirits, then he'll try to be, too... or at least keep up the image of it.]

I suppose it could be worse, although I do wonder where we've ended up this time...

Is this a place from the palace owner's memories? It looks like the people here have it hard.

[ Ai murmurs quietly as she glances around the run-down village. Though maybe she shouldn't be feeling too bad for them since these people are turning out to be shadows! ]

It must be. It doesn't look anything like the world we've been staying in.

[And it really doesn't look great, either, like Ai said. Richard has never seen a village that looks quite this down on its luck before...]

[ Her stomach at this time decides to grumble loudly and she cups her cheek in embarrassment. ]

The meal can wait, we've got to find the palace owner and help them out!
