[ That is a good point from someone who is slightly more emotionally attuned than McGillis himself is. ]
I can handle informing everyone of what happened, and I can handle organizing a meeting. But the actual funeral should be lead by somebody else.
I'm a military man, and not spiritually inclined. I don't think I'd be particularly soothing.
[ He knows what someone should say in theory and he could probably do say it with a convincing enough pathos, but it might still ring hollow. He isn't particularly keen on finding out. ]
I'm out too. Never really knew the guy, so I doubt he'd want a eulogy from me.
[Their first and last conversation also ended with the virtual equivalent of Jordi storming out of the room, so there's that too. There's a short pause here as he considers the options here, but there is one person that stands out for this, considering what they'd seen in the lighthouse.]
...How 'bout the knight? That dumbass can wax poetic about anything, so he's probably got at least a few words to spare for a friend.
He would certainly have words... more than a few, I'd wager. But he's also extremely dedicated to his own religion, and Jordi was a priest in his world. It might cause offense.
[ Not that Jordi is going to mind now, being dead and all. But others might find it tasteless. ]
It's good to keep him in mind just in case though.
Kinda slim pickings, though. Who else do we even got?
[The teens are out, it seems shitty to put this on them unless one of them really is determined to volunteer. And unfortunately he knows basically nothing about Jordi's circle of acquaintances, so. Hm.]
It's not a formal ceremony, so having it be someone close to him makes more sense to me.
Wouldn't normally think you'd need to talk much for that kinda act, but hell, not like I've ever spoken to him. You really think he's the heartfelt speech type though?

We were roommates, but we are both the unobtrusive kind, so I do not actually know who he spent most of his time with.
[ They had a very pleasant arrangement of living next to each other and taking up as little space as possible. He liked it. ]
Celeste...? He's a performer, so public speaking would not be much of an issue. He might also be too distraught, however.

[This palace certainly showcased what Céleste could do, but Aaron doesn't actually know much about him aside from bits and pieces he's seen from the network.]
