[ soujuurou doesn’t know what that is either. an emotion, from what he can gather, but the look he gives mcgillis is the same one as always— just a little dazed and confused, taken aback by the complexity of the world he has been thrust into. after a few seconds, he nods to himself with his own, simple conclusion— it must be to feel sad for the dead.
he thinks about how, in comparison, no one in the mountains would have batted an eye to this. jordi would have been just another dead, forgotten by everyone by the time that the sun rose again. soujuurou was never good at doing that, however— that’s also a failing on his part.
