[ McGillis inwardly sends thanks to Celeste for keeping Lumen confined to one space rather than flitting about... That gratitude makes him at least consider the possibility that he might injure Celeste with what he will next attempt. The consideration is immediately discarded though because Celeste is a vampire and probably going to be fine, and also because McGillis doesn't care that much compared to the more pressing issue of taking Lumen out before the algae consumes the lamp.
