[ thankfully the tentacle didn't hit him as hard to send him flying but it did hit enough to send him skidding backwards and dangerously close to the algae. he's gritting his teeth and casting a dia on himself considering that keeping his hp up probably is a good idea! ]
[ he's momentarily distracted by the monster gore to focus back on the Algae Problem, so instead he's making a lunge for lumen but unfortunately narrowly misses (9) ]
