I messed up…Mom's gonna be so mad at me for losing track of her dog at that event…

There's a shadow in the Nekyia that's taken the form of a Level 25 Nue. It seems to be growling in despair, and echoing the thoughts of this commissioner. Apparently this person lost his mother's dog at the event and hasn't made an effort to find it yet. Fight the Nue and try to knock some sense into this guy, either by shaking some sense into him or by defeating him; they've got a dog to find, after all.

Seems like someone who might be involved with the vandalism incident might have a shadow here, too, in the form of a Level 24 Mokoi. She sounds like she's going to do something more extreme to the place if she isn't stopped. However, be careful… characters hit with Dazzler from this particular Shadow cannot be cured with magic, and must instead be healed by another person’s touch. It’s time to get cozy with your companions.

GET HEE OUTTA HERE

A powerful Shadow has appeared in the Nekyia and needs to be eliminated asap! Black Frost is a tenacious (if cute?) little guy, and can only be fought after taking down three Level 28 Jack Frosts beforehand. Make sure you ration out your spiritual energy and healing spells, this little Shadow can pack a real punch, being at Level 30! That said, for those who manage to defeat him, he should drop a mascot trading card. Turn this in to the priest or priestess at the temple to unlock a bonus new skill for your Persona!

(OOC: Please turn in your threads for this commission on the rewards page to unlock the new skill, which is separate from your leveling skillset! You may select one elemental skill for light damage to apply permanently to your character's persona. When turning in the skill will be effective immediately once rewarded.)

FINE DINING

Various restaurants, from fast food and fast casual grub to the fine dining establishments in Carnation Court are trying to outdo each other in terms of promotion, and as such are on the prowl for any free hands to help entice potential customers with free samples and food challenges galore. Grab a buddy and help hawk some bite-sized treats! Or maybe try to beat the record for the biggest burger ever eaten, if you dare.

ALL HANDS ON STAGE

A number of performers were involved in the Go-Kart incident and have yet to fully recover enough to do their parts for the show! For the next two weeks, the Sunset Grand Theater is looking for understudies for roles, as well as stage hands who are willing to ninja around and maneuver props and sets for the actors. The production is a fanciful tale of starcrossed lovers, evil stepmothers, political feuds, and for some reason, a dragon.

PREPARE THE PETS

The pet store in Vermillion Village is looking for some volunteers to help socialize the pets through playtime, as well as feed some of the more persnickety ones. Those who want to pet some adorable balls of fluff and energy can work with the kittens, puppies, and bunny rabbits, while those who are brave enough can try their hand at feeding the reptiles their meals of live crickets and frozen rats.

What the Fluff

[Sally hasn't done a particularly great job with socializing in her time here. Most of her walks around the dorm she keeps her head tucked in and tries to avoid eye contact. She's at least coming to terms with the fact that this really is what it's billed as, but that doesn't make it any easier for her to reach out to other people.

Dogs and cats, though? Well, when her little stroll is interrupted by a friendly cat circling her legs and meowing, how can she resist?]

Aw, cutie. What are you doing here?

Fetch Quest

[None of what happens in the Nekyia makes Sally feel at all confident in herself. Just because her persona seems ready to fight doesn't mean she is. But, well, she has to do this, right? At some point she needs to figure out how this all works. So here she is, facing down the groaning Nue.]

So go look for the damn dog, then!

[Lady Pigatha sends a blast of wind toward the creature with a karate chop as if following a command that Sally had given, though Sally herself seems almost baffled that she managed to do some kind of attack in the first place. Certainly, she's not going to get much farther in the battle if she just stands there looking confused.

[She crouches down to pet it, smiling for probably the first time since arriving here.]

Fine Dining

No, really, I'm not interested.

[A particularly pushy worker is trying to encourage Sally to try to the Biggest Burger challenge--and she knows exactly why. Like, they're not being all that subtle. You look hungry, I bet you could do it! Because, you know, she's such a pig and all. All she really wanted was to help, not to get roped into one of the promotions. Ugh, that was what she got for being so meek.]

Can I just...

[Yeah, she's totally cornered. Someone please give her an excuse to get out of this.]

[It doesn't take a genius to see Sally is uncomfortable with how insistent they are about getting her to indulge. Well, better intervene, see how to get Sally away. Kirumi approaches, hands folded primly, and says to her a little louder than usual, bowing]

Miss, your presence is needed your right now. Please come along -- I was asked not to return without you.

[A very indirect way to tell the worker that Sally has to leave immediately]

[Real World

The best possible stage hands are those with a capacity for immense organization and planning skills. Of course Kirumi Tojo would ace at it.

Anyone coming to the theater for one of their strange plays would find it going remarkably smoothly. Almost abnormally so! The props are available in the blink of an eye, the spotlights turn on and off with excellent timing, and the actors' cues are never missed. Once it's all over, Kirumi might be sighted lowering the curtains, letting them fall onto the stage.

Well that sure explains it, eh? After all, Kirumi has been seen all month all over the dormitories, keeping them in top shape, despite the number of people in there. It's quite amazing!

[She sees the excuse and is jumping on it, sliding as fast as she can past the over-aggressive worker and over to her savior, where she can be shuffled away. Sally hugs herself, as embarrassed as she is appreciative. As soon as they're out of ear-shot she mumbles out a hurried:]

Do not worry -- I did it gladly. You should remember from here on, though: being forceful is the only way to face somebody who cannot take a polite no for an answer.

[She says that just in case Sally felt constrained by the need to be polite even when accosted like that! A lot of people are like that, after all]

[ The Nue gets hit but is apparently so destitute with itself in the real world for now that miraculously doesn't seem to anger it for now. Either way, Argenti so happens to be making his approach when he sees this going on, because hmm... ]

[ Well, he arrived mid-pets so he is not entirely sure, but he's asking anyways. ]

[ Well, the hardest task isn't going to make itself not be the most difficult, and all that.

if/when he wakes up before you can get to him, that's okay, because they will either find:

(1) joshua seated cross legged on a beanbag, frowning at the two (?) phones in his hand, and he'll look up and give your character a cheery wave. ]

see the thing is: joshua and animals don't really mix well, so someone with higher animal mana (lol) than him might have to help him out to get his shirt back from the mischievous puppy. ]

for someone who's used to throwing his abilities around without any particular care, it's a whole new ball game when these enemies pack more of a punch than you expect.

for now, joshua seems to be holding his own against two incubi snd succubi but he's purely getting by thanks to taking advantage of elemental rock paper scissors.

he is, however, absolutely getting his ass kicked by a shiki-ouji when he can't fall back on that, so.

[Lots of new teenage boys in this place, huh? Haruka is one of them, but he doesn't really stand out unless green hair is strange to some people. Or he at least hopes he isn't standing out, because it's taken a bit to process the fact that he's been isekai'd into some weird... other world. He got a run down on things, sure, and he's seen enough to accept this is real and not just some super elaborate prank show he got kidnapped into...

Well. At least he didn't die to get here like all the shitty isekai his classmates talked about. (Or he at least doesn't remember any speeding trucks or buses...)

He adjusts to life pretty quickly—people might notice the new kid as he cooks for himself (and only himself, he's not nearly as generous as Yoon) in the kitchen, or see him practicing in the training area with a katan he seems both comfortable with and unsure of... or even in the Nekyia, testing out his skills against some of the lower level enemies. The Persona hanging around him seems to be a mermaid, quietly floating behind him as he fights shadows.]

[There's something very, very strange about a karaoke place with unfriendly staff. The standoffish nature of everyone Haruka runs into in the entertainment district is definitely weird—it's very different to hear that people are acting strangely because of weird god stuff and another thing entirely to experience it first hand.

He's not going to let standoffishness stop him from nosing through all of the songs on offer, brows knit in plain confusion as he cycles through.]

What is all of this junk?

[Some of the titles seem... almost familiar? In the same way that WcDonald's is familiar. You know what they're going for, but that doesn't mean it's the same thing.]

Tch. This isn't worth my time.

[...Even if he does kind of want to sing, doing karaoke by yourself is really lame. Right? Maybe someone else will stop by and he can casually ask them... So it's fine if he stays and hovers awkwardly around... Right??]

[It's a wonderful day, and Haruka is stopping you in your tracks as you mosey on down the sidewalk. There's a bakery nearby—one of those trendy ones with incredibly #aesthetic treats—and Haruka is armed with flyers. Seems he's decided to pick up one of the commissions, and now he has to do his best.]

There's a discount on desserts if you buy two or more items.

[And, with absolutely no subtlety despite his best efforts, he continues on.]

...If you don't think you can eat that many, I'll take one and help split the cost.

[This production seems... strange. Haruka's flipped through the script a million times, it feels like, but he just doesn't get how all of this ties together. The dragon just comes out of nowhere, the romance is cringy (at least in his opinion), and the evil stepmothers are just kind of cartoonishly evil... Saying that, he wouldn't mind doing a role so campy. He hasn't been on the stage in a play or musical since moving back to Japan, so it's partly nostalgia and partly wanting rewards that has him even bothering in the first place.

Still, one man does not a play make.]

[Even if you're just here to help with the stage, you've got no reason to decline!! Or at least that's what Haruka thinks. He doesn't need to act off someone good, he just needs to memorize the lines.]

[ That's a lot of animals running around, and Yoon's alarmed by the sheer number of them. He has no qualms with approaching a dog with a bowl of water. He holds it out and lets the dog lap at it...shortly before the dog pounces and pummels him onto the ground. ]

[ The dog is aggressively licking him as a way to say thanks, now. Despite the fact that Yoon's smiling, this is a large doggo. A little help getting the dog off of him, please! ]

[ After all of that over the weekend, Yoon can be found dragging his feet back into the dormitory. Normally, he'd be found with a book, in the kitchen, or scribbling something on paper...but today, he simply goes to the lounge and falls forward, face first, onto one of the couches.

He can be heard letting out a very big sigh.

Man. Man, is he exhausted. ]

[ Yoon is a great actor, but he wasn't expected to get cast as one of the main roles – a princess who is in love with another man in a kingdom, who she is forbidden to marry. Geez...

He looks at the script. It's very dramatic and over-the-top. He has no qualms with playing a woman but the problem is simply how cheesy it is.

For another person tackling the commission, though, it could be fun. He holds out the papers to someone else: ]

[ Argenti is going to be seen near the dorm with a small black cat; he's already smiling at the dear little thing, occupied with the furball enough to be granting it quite a many scritches...isn't it grand? He's out in his armor as always but it doesn't keep the little feline from rubbing up against him. He's not bad with animals, and in fact he loves them dearly. It's a shame he can't really bring him with him at times, though.

Though he can also be seen in the dining hall, with an assortment of things he has collected from regainsville. ]

Oh, are any of these things yours?

[ Argenti fixates a hopeful gaze towards the person in question...yeah. ]

[ Argenti is already making a quick effort to take out some of these irritating shadows; perhaps it is with little surprise that he's seeing himself in the Nekyia more and more often. After all, these problems aren't going to fix themselves, even if he can do with some moderation in his efforts.

Whatever the case, the enemy being level 24 isn't terrible, even if it's going to be difficult. But he seems ready to charge and take it down on his lonesome; feel free to join him? ]

[ Argenti is unafraid to take on any challenges, it seems. Though, things being what they are, he is hesitating about going immediately to the Nekyia upon checking the level of the creature. It seems he has some kind of sense.

Though, he's just seconds away from entering it again and the hesitation disperses if he should catch someone's eye. ]

Oh, hello there! Did you wish to join me on my campaign? I am making an endeavor to strike down a powerful foe!

[ And here is Argenti once more, helping out back stage because he may or may not have been banished to that position once he kept being over dramatic for the roles he previously attempted to help with. If he sees someone he knows he will give an excitable hand wave. ]

Argenti is running straight into all of this, not caring about elemental whathaveyous himself, before slamming all creatures with a rather well-timed Mapsi that is relatively still a good light hitting spell but it manages to slam pretty hard into all three. In fact, at least one of the Incubi gets taken out, since Joshua has been at it for awhile anyway. ]

My friend, are you in need of aid?

[ He simply asks, rushing in anyway... ]

[ soujuurou had been there to help set up the place. he's strong and proactive, so it was without much question that they would want to keep him around to set up the stage. he had been everywhere backstage, like a busy worker ant, but now that he had a moment to stop and take a break, he's being asked to...read a line?

[ after a long weekend of doing some random jobs, soujuurou wouldn't say that he's tired, but he is happy to be back in the dorms to wind down to eat some dinner.

or at least he would, if he wasn't watching yoon flop on the sofa like a rag doll.

with a bag of ingredients for a meal in hand, he approaches yoon, head tilted to the side. ]

[ why the fuck is there someone passed out on the floor.

soujuurou at first runs over to him with the same urgency that most people would, seeing someone passed out. but from what he can see, this person seems to be fine? asleep, even? for someone that has learned so much about the human body as soujuurou, he feels like he could tell if someone were to be in grave danger. and at the very worst, this guy's just exhausted.

Well, it's not like exhaustion isn't dangerous. [ he fusses to himself and the passed out joshua, looking down at this him with a mildly miffed expression. ] People could trip over you, too. Couldn't you be a little more mindful?

[ the right thing, would be to move him. and move him is what he's going to do. he's done this before, when carrying alice. he slides an arm to rest under joshua's head, and another under his knees, and without much difficulty picks him up bridal-style. blissfully unaware of such a term, he walks the steps necessary before unceremoniously dumping him on the sofa. ]

I guess I should get him water and food.

[ and with a small grumble, he goes to the kitchen to go get some water and some sort of breakfast for this weirdo that just showed up. ]

Yeah...forceful isn't exactly easy for me.

[In her head, maybe. She can think of all sorts of colorful ways to talk to a person. But actually saying those things out loud? No, no way. Mortifying.]

[Sally altogether flinches. It was the Knight guy. Okay, cool. He knew how to kill things.]

Yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing.

[She hasn't even remotely mastered using her persona--it feels so unnatural.]

[ Argenti sure does! And while he could absolutely kill the monster here by himself, he thinks that kind of isn't exactly going to necessarily help Sally.

...What would help is teaching her how to kill it. ]

The skills you receive with your Persona lie deep inside of your mind. If you concentrate, the name of them should be known to you, and so should the commands to give to your Persona.

[ Maybe this advice should help, he thinks. ]

Take a moment to ponder of them and direct an attack towards that enemy.

[ If he wasn't trying to stay awake (due to not being in his own room) he'd have probably fallen asleep immediately. But, he hears someone asking him if he's alright, which prompts him to turn his face to the side, just enough to see who's addressing him. His eyes are puffy and tired...?? ]

Uh-huh. I'm fine.

[ He doesn't feel like it's right to tell others about what took place given that it was a highly personal thing, but... ]

Nekyia was just...a little tiring today.

[ Oh, hey, it's Haruka. Yoon happened to be passing by when he sees Haruka holding his katana like a complete amateur. Geez...what was the Goddess thinking? At least give Haruka something nice and easy to handle if he's not a combatant.

Whatever. Yoon approaches - ]

[ Right off the bat. He sounds sure of it, too...? ]

[ he has no idea what could be causing that. allergies, maybe? can you catch allergies from pollutions with the monsters? considering how wild everything else has been, soujuurou doesn't push it out of the realm of possibility. ]

[ He went to the theater to check out the plays to get a better idea of what to expect for his own commission, and everything went...incredibly smoothly. Surprisingly so. He's impressed, and he did, in fact, spot Kirumi lowering the curtains from where he'd been sitting. Huh, she's really on it, isn't she?

When she approaches, Yoon glances at the card. A survey, huh? ]

I didn't realize you were working this one. Did you enjoy it?

N-no, they aren't!

[ Nothing is wrong with his eyes! He has no idea what Soujuurou's talking about....... ]
