Good evening, everyone. I've a few questions I'd like to hear your answers for, if you'd be so kind as to answer them.

What would you consider to be the "truth" of the world you come from?

Whether it be the truth of the universe or simply honesty from your loved ones, how important is the truth to you? (I've no interest in whether you've deceived others or not, as putting value in truth does not prevent lies from happening at all. It's an interesting hypocrisy that comes with flesh and bone.)

Lastly... how far would you go to find out the truth, knowing the truth may be devastating? Would you sacrifice comfort and the status quo just to know?

But since we were young, we were always being taught about how animals moved and how we moved in comparison… things like that.

I didn’t face them daily, but often… bears… foxes… and wild dogs are the worst. I almost died to them, once. I’m really lucky to have lived.

The truth is important, of course, but the "truth of the world"? I haven't given it that much thought.

Is it something you would want to know, or are you content in your ignorance of it?

Not to say lack of curiosity or knowledge is a worse thing, of course, but many men would and have been tempted by such a thing.

Sometimes it is. I can't speak for every realm or world out there, but there is such a thing as forbidden truths. Things kept secret for the "greater good".

Usually that just means secrets kept to maintain the status quo.

However, in that circumstance, I know that it's impossible to attempt, not because it's dangerous, but because I am weak.

Many things are dangerous to me solely because I have no experience in the outside world. But I also know that these many things can pale in comparison to what's in the vast ocean. The entirety of the ocean is forbidden and for good reason, because I have seen parts of it come out onto the shore.

There's nothing I can do against nature, and something that lurks in it.

It may be that simple, but how people feel about it far more complex. It's those complex feelings that can take pursuit of the truth from something innocent to something dangerous.

...People don't give anything without expecting something in return; usually more than what you're asking for.
And it's important because it defines my entire career at home; if I don't live by that truth, I'll be forgotten and tossed aside, even if I'm good at my work.

It's...not a very kind way of looking at it, but it's not like I have anything else to go back to.
