[ With the regression of the city, working at Sunset Theater has quickly become less enjoyable than it used to be. Though the cast remembers the rapport McGillis had built with them, even if they're more standoffish now. And it's not as though McGillis had placed much stock in his interpersonal relationships to the random citizens, but... the shift in atmosphere serves as a tangible reminder. That this is temporary. That this world is susceptible to insane levels of mind manipulation. That he wants to leave.

Leave and... do what? That's the question that has haunted McGillis for weeks now, and the countdown is mercilessly continuing. Soon Braphine will release them from her hold, one way or another. Soon, he'll have to know. And so will everyone else. ]

Just a little over two weeks until we're free from this, if Braphine really keeps her word and the God of Conflict doesn't swallow up all her power. Until then we'll doubtlessly face a number of additional challenges and hassles, but while we're still in the quiet before the storm...

Are you going home to your own worlds after this? Or will you take Braphine up on her offer and come along with one of your 'bonds'? What is your world like? What is making you return? What is making you abandon it?

And if you're like me and cannot return to where you came from no matter what, maybe the answers can give you some perspective.

I cannot abandon my world, as there are things I feel I must do.

But I know I'll be left with a curiosity of these other worlds where the rest of the chosen will reside. How unfortunate.

i mean mine actually sucks???
demons invaded and trashed the world
we only just took back a big chunk of my country
so theres a lot of rebuilding happening
and still lots of fighting demons too
but sydney is safe
and the farmlands in the south are getting set up again
if youre more interested in that

I understand that mindset. If I had been taken here earlier in my life, I would have felt the same way.

It seems like a bit of a waste to not see more of the many worlds out there, but it's nothing compared to the weight of pre-existing commitments.

I do know that the frozen time aspect that Braphine used at limited power allows a bit more... Freedom to consider such ventures. Do you have an idea of what you'd want in a world to visit, or perhaps stay?

I'm somebody who can't live without a project, so ideally I want to settle in a world facing some measure of conflict that I can help resolving.

It's still grating on me that I cannot fulfill my original goals from home, but that just gives me all the more reason to not want to sit idly by.

I have a variety of military and organizational skills, so someplace where I can employ those to the fullest would be ideal.

It sounds like you could accomplish a lot in such a world with such ambition...

I would hope you can maintain contact with Izou. He would be the type to be in awe of your accomplishments.
